Happy New Year!!!!
Dec 31st
To one, and all, I wish a safe & fun night tonight, and a very prosperous and even more fun 2010!
Happy New Year!!!!!!!
hands
Dec 31st
Getting the hands warmed up this morning. Takes a little longer each day now to get to running speed!
Looking Up
Dec 30th
Yesterday was about getting some keyboard parts done. Today is closing in on some bass parts and vocals.
Had a business day the other day. Got a new client to produce for a cd. Diggin that.
More irons in the fire. Going to be producing more in 2010.
The plan now is to play everywhere. My band, other bands, session work, live tours, venue dates. Just play as much as possible. I booked over 80 gigs in 2009, and want to move up on that in 2010.
So if anyone needs some guitar tracks in the realm of Blues, Blues Rock, Lite Jazz, Rock, Funk, POP. You just let me know. I also do remote recording all over the world. So don’t let distance stop you! LOL
I’m feeling very focused and ready.
Late Start
Dec 29th
I woke up this morning very early, then fell back asleep. Now it’s late in the day and I have a ton to do, and a keyboard buddy of mine coming over in a bit. Have to shake off the cobwebs and get going!
New things
Dec 29th
Went to video tape a friends comedy routine tonight. He was good.
Tomorrow more lively keyboard tracks. I also found an old song that I had forgotten about that I really like. Think it may go on the record.
Technically, I want to install new software, but not sure all of the plug-ins will still work. It’s so bad to change software versions in the middle of a project. But I so want the new features. Think I’ll wait. Don’t want to jinx things now.
Also I got hired today to produce a live CD for a new client. Nice!!!!!
Just another day…
Dec 28th
Have a few meetings today, and teaching a remote guitar lesson to a guitarist in Florida. Still have to get on the mixes for the live CD, as well as finish up the conservative CD.
I’m using Logic Pro, and need to get to Logic 9. But I have an old large frame console to heat things up. Bringing 8 stems from Logic through the console then back to Logic as a two mix.
Lead guitar stuff to do today as well as a vocal track. Break out the amps I say!!!
Bass & guitar

Yay!
Dec 27th
Well I just updated the main site to include this blog, so it’s live now. Yay!
Let’s see what happens. I do all of my own site work, which makes it easy in one way to update things, and on the other hand it chews up time. Still only 24 hours in a day right?
Hello world!
Dec 27th
Don’t know why, but I think I’m going to start a blog about finishing these projects I have to finish. Don’t know if anyone will read them, but it might be kind of fun and cathartic while I’m exchanging absolute joy with pulling out my non-existant hair during this process.
Today I’m working on my hands some. I’ve noticed I have to warm up my hands more than I used to have to. My ritual now is a Contrast Bath for both hands, then working against a metronome in a preset pattern of bpm changes. Then the hands are loose enough to play.
So far both CD projects are coming along nicely. Slower than I’d like them to, but nicely nonetheless.
Have so many different directions I like to write in, but it should be fun anyway seeing which songs I’ll end up putting on the CDs.
Sign in later,
